Like all HA fillers, Restylane physically restores volume where it's been lost. What distinguishes the Restylane family is the texture range. Some formulations are firmer (for structural areas like cheeks), some softer and more flexible (for areas that move constantly like the mouth and tear troughs).
The consultation determines which product fits which area. We don't pick Restylane vs Juvéderm based on a preference for the brand. We pick the specific product within either family that works best for your specific anatomy. Most consults end up using more than one product across the face.
Treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on areas covered. Most patients see immediate results, with final integration over two to four weeks.
Your provider reviews your goals, assesses your facial structure, and discusses which Restylane product is right for the area being treated. The Restylane family includes Lyft for structural support, Kysse for lips, Defyne and Refyne for dynamic areas, and Contour for cheeks. We match the product to the anatomy.
Small injections placed through a fine needle or cannula. Most Restylane products contain lidocaine. Appointment runs thirty to sixty minutes depending on the areas treated.
Some swelling and possible bruising are normal. Restylane tends to integrate quickly because of its smaller particle size in some products. Ice as needed. Sleep elevated for the first night.
Swelling resolves. The filler settles into the tissue and reads natural with expression. We schedule a two-week check-in to assess the result.
Most patients return between six and eighteen months. Lyft in the cheeks lasts longest. Lips and lower face refresh sooner.

Restylane is priced per syringe. Lip work usually takes one syringe. Cheeks often take two. Prices listed are starting points. The right product for your specific anatomy is decided at consultation.
We use filler to give back what time, weight change, or aging has taken. We don't add what wasn't there.
The right product depends on the area. Voluma for cheeks, Volbella for lips, Vollure for fine lines. Anatomy chooses the product, not the price.
We use hyaluronic acid filler almost exclusively. If something needs adjusting, we can dissolve it. That option matters.
Filler is best in layered, modest amounts over time. Less now, more if needed, never all at once.
Not when it's done well. The Restylane family is known for natural movement with expression, particularly the XpresHAn line (Defyne, Refyne, Kysse). We dose conservatively at the first visit. You can always add. You can't subtract without dissolving it. Your face should look like itself, just refined.
