No. This is the most persistent myth about dermaplaning. Hair texture is determined by the follicle, not by what happens to the hair shaft at the surface. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) regrows at the same rate, same diameter, and same softness as before. What changes is the visual: cleanly removed hair grows back with a blunt tip rather than a tapered one for the first few days, which can feel different to the touch, but it isn't actually thicker or darker.
