Chemical peels remove damaged surface layers of skin through controlled chemical exfoliation. We offer multiple peel depths, superficial for maintenance, medium for meaningful change, deeper formulations for specific concerns. The right peel depends on what your skin is actually telling us.

peeling reveals fresh skin
varies by depth, 0-5 days

Peels work by controlled chemical injury to the skin's surface. The acid penetrates to a specific depth, breaks down the top layer of cells, and triggers your body to replace it with newer, healthier tissue. Hyperpigmentation lifts. Fine lines soften. Tone evens.
Depth determines outcome, and downtime. A superficial peel might leave you slightly pink for an hour with no peeling. A medium TCA peel will leave you visibly peeling for three to five days but produces more dramatic results.
The consultation determines which peel fits your skin, your concerns, and your tolerance for downtime. We don't recommend the strongest peel by default. We recommend the right one.
Your provider matches the peel depth to your skin and your goals. Light peels (lactic, mandelic, glycolic) for tone and brightening with minimal downtime. Medium peels (TCA, Jessner) for deeper resurfacing. Pre-care typically means no retinol for five to seven days.
A chemical solution is layered onto cleansed skin. You may feel mild tingling or warmth depending on the peel depth. Sessions run thirty to forty-five minutes. Some peels neutralize on the skin; others stay on as a self-neutralizing layer.
Light peels: mild redness for a day, light flaking by day three. Medium peels: redness day one to two, visible peeling day three to seven. SPF every day during recovery is non-negotiable. Don't pick or pull at peeling skin.
Fresh skin emerges as the treated layer sheds. Tone evens, fine lines soften, texture refines. Light peels show subtle improvement; medium peels show more dramatic resurfacing. Each peel builds on the last in a series.
Most clients see best results from a series of three to six peels spaced four to six weeks apart. Light peels can be done more frequently; medium peels less often. Annual maintenance peels keep the result.
At RN Esthetics, every treatment starts with listening. We are Nurse Practitioners, RNs and Estheticians who treat every client as the hero of their own story.
Chemical peels are priced per session and per peel brand (ZO, Perfect Peel, BioRePeel). Prices listed are starting points. The right peel for your skin is matched at consultation.

Chemical peels are where I move texture and tone fastest. ZO 3-Step is my workhorse. We don't do it standalone, we sequence it. Peel, recover, maintain. The clients who follow the home care between visits see double what the chair can do alone.

The best laser, filler, or injectable results sit on healthy skin. These treatments build the foundation everything else stands on.
One facial is a refresh. A series is a transformation. We design treatment cadence around the texture, tone, and barrier changes that compound over time.
Same treatment, different protocols. We adjust depth, acid concentration, and serum selection based on your barrier, sensitivity, and concerns.
These treatments rarely get the credit. They do most of the work between bigger appointments and often produce the changes clients notice most.
It depends on the peel depth. Light peels (lactic, mandelic, glycolic) typically cause subtle flaking or light shedding for a few days that's barely noticeable. Medium peels (TCA, Jessner) cause visible peeling for three to seven days. We match the peel to your downtime tolerance and goals. If you can't take visible peeling, we don't recommend a medium peel.
Each location has its own character. All three share the same standard of care.
It depends. A light peel done two to three weeks before an event leaves you with refined, glowing skin and no visible peeling by the day of. A medium peel needs at least three to four weeks of recovery before you'd want to be in photos. We plan around your timeline rather than around the peel calendar.
Your provider matches the peel to two things: what you're trying to address and how much downtime you can absorb. For tone and brightening with minimal downtime, a light peel works. For deeper texture, acne scarring, or sun damage, a medium peel may be the better tool. We don't push the deepest peel by default. We start where you'll get a real result with the recovery you can actually handle.
Chemical peels are priced per session, with cost varying by the depth of the peel. Light peels are the most affordable and most frequently repeated. Medium peels are less frequent but more expensive per session. Most clients build a series with us rather than booking one-offs.
You'll feel mild stinging or warmth during application, more pronounced with medium peels than light peels. The sensation typically lasts a few minutes per layer applied. After the peel is complete, the skin feels comfortable. No numbing required.

Had my first blood draw today with it was INCREDIBLE!!! Also the front desk were all so pleasant especially Kelsie! I highly recommend RN Esthetics!!
I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
I highly recommend RN Esthetics! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful without making you feel rushed. The facility is spotless and clean, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident being there. Great experience overall!
