Halo combines two laser wavelengths in one treatment: ablative to resurface and non-ablative to drive collagen below. It's the treatment for patients ready for a meaningful reset on skin texture, tone, pore size, and fine lines. Five to seven days of downtime. Six months to a year of payoff.
includes 30 minutes numbing
longer with skincare and SPF
collagen build continues
5-7 days visible recovery

The two wavelengths address different layers simultaneously. The ablative 2940nm beam removes a controlled portion of the outer skin layer, which triggers immediate texture improvement and clears surface pigment. The non-ablative 1470nm beam reaches the dermis, where it heats tissue and stimulates collagen production over the months that follow.
Treatment takes 45 to 60 minutes including numbing. The energy delivery itself is 20 to 30 minutes. You'll feel intense heat during the pulses, mitigated by topical numbing applied beforehand.
Visible improvement starts at one week and continues building over six months as the deeper collagen response develops. Most patients see results that last a year or longer with proper skincare and sun protection.
Your provider assesses your candidacy for Halo. The pre-care is serious: two full weeks of strict sun avoidance, five to seven days off retinol, no other treatments in the area. We block your calendar for recovery before booking the session.
Topical numbing for thirty to forty-five minutes before treatment. The hybrid fractional laser delivers ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in a single pass. Sessions run sixty to ninety minutes including numbing.
Day one to two: red and swollen, similar to a strong sunburn. Day two to three: skin bronzes as treated tissue surfaces. Day three to five: the bronzed layer flakes off with gentle cleansing. SPF every day, no exceptions.
Smooth, pink, glowing skin emerges as healing completes. The full collagen response builds over the next three months. Most patients describe peak results at three to six months post-treatment.
Most patients hold the result for one to two years before considering another session. Some choose to do Halo annually for cumulative effect. Some pair it with a series of Moxi or BBL in between.
At RN Esthetics, every treatment starts with listening. We are Nurse Practitioners, RNs and Estheticians who treat every client as the hero of their own story.
Halo is priced per session. Most clients need one full-strength treatment, occasionally a second six months later to address remaining concerns. Prices listed are starting points. The right intensity and coverage is calibrated at consultation.
Wrong wavelength on darker skin causes pigment damage. We use Nd:YAG for Fitzpatrick 4 through 6 and match every setting to your tone, not the protocol default.
Lasers work in series. We plan four to six sessions for most concerns and explain what each session contributes to the cumulative result.
We talk about what laser can and can't do upfront. For deep texture or significant laxity, we name the limits and discuss alternatives.
Tanned skin can't be safely treated. We pause for four to six weeks after sun exposure and require committed SPF use during the treatment series.
For the right candidate, yes. Halo is a single-session laser that combines two wavelengths in one pass: ablative for surface resurfacing and non-ablative for deeper collagen response. Results last a year or more. The tradeoff is real downtime: three to five days of bronzing and peeling. If your schedule can absorb a week of looking like you've been at the beach too long, Halo is the most efficient single laser we offer.
Each location has its own character. All three share the same standard of care.
Halo is the heaviest hitter we offer for tone, texture, fine lines, and significant sun damage. Choose Halo if you want substantial results in a single session and can absorb five to seven days of downtime. Moxi if you want gradual improvement with minimal downtime over a series. BBL if your primary concern is pigment and redness rather than texture.
Day 1-2: red and swollen, similar to a strong sunburn. Day 2-3: bronzing as the treated tissue (called MENDs) rises to the surface. Day 3-5: the bronzed layer flakes off, exfoliated by gentle cleansing and moisturizer. Day 5-7: smooth, pink, glowing. We send you home with a recovery kit and check-in plan.
Halo is priced per session. Most patients need a single session annually or every other year. The investment is higher than BBL or Moxi but the result is more substantial in one visit. We don't quote pricing without seeing you because the right plan depends on the depth of work needed.
Yes, we numb you. Topical numbing cream is applied for thirty to forty-five minutes before treatment. With numbing, most patients describe it as warm and tingling with some discomfort but no sharp pain. Without numbing, it would be intense. We don't do Halo without numbing.

Had my first blood draw today with it was INCREDIBLE!!! Also the front desk were all so pleasant especially Kelsie! I highly recommend RN Esthetics!!
I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
