Diagonal creases across the bridge of the nose that appear when you scrunch or smile.
Bunny lines run diagonally across the bridge of the nose when the nasalis muscle contracts. They appear most clearly when smiling broadly or scrunching the nose. For most clients, these lines aren't a primary concern, they're noticed in passing.
The area becomes more relevant after treatment elsewhere. When the glabella and forehead are relaxed, the nasalis often compensates and bunny lines become more visible. This is why we often discuss bunny lines as part of a broader upper-face plan, not as a standalone treatment.
The nasalis muscle has two parts.
Transverse nasalis compresses the nose against the septum and creates the diagonal lines across the bridge.
Alar nasalis dilates the nostrils and contributes to nostril shape with expression.
Treatment focuses on the transverse fibers. Small amounts of neuromodulator placed in two to three points along the bridge soften the lines without affecting nasal function.
Bunny lines develop slowly across decades and accelerate after upper-face injectable treatment. The lines themselves rarely become a primary aesthetic concern until they're noticed alongside other treatment.
Sun damage and skin quality affect how visible they become at rest. Otherwise, the rate of change is relatively gradual compared to the forehead or glabella.
Bunny lines in this decade are usually dynamic only and not yet a treatment priority. Some clients with very expressive faces may notice them earlier.
Most clients first encounter bunny lines as a footnote during a glabella consultation. They become more visible as the nasalis compensates for relaxed muscles around it.
Lines begin to remain visible at rest. Treatment becomes part of the standard upper-face conversation rather than an afterthought.
The bunny line treatment continues as part of a broader plan. The area is rarely the primary concern but contributes meaningfully to the overall result.
Bunny line treatment is quick and low-risk. We place two to three units of Botox per side along the transverse nasalis, with placement that respects the nearby muscles of the upper lip.
Results show in five to seven days and last about three months, similar to other upper-face treatment timelines. We almost always treat this area at the same visit as glabella or forehead work, not as a standalone appointment.
Each location has its own character. All three share the same standard of care.

Had my first blood draw today with it was INCREDIBLE!!! Also the front desk were all so pleasant especially Kelsie! I highly recommend RN Esthetics!!
I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
I highly recommend RN Esthetics! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful without making you feel rushed. The facility is spotless and clean, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident being there. Great experience overall!
