About this area

Hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating, and the role of the underarms

Underarm Botox isn't about appearance. It's about sweat. Hyperhidrosis, the medical term for excessive sweating, affects a significant percentage of adults. For some it's mild and manageable. For others it's life-altering. Clothing is constantly damp. Social situations become exercises in shirt selection. Antiperspirants don't work.

Botox in the underarm blocks the nerve signal to sweat glands for about six months. The change is significant. Most clients describe it as the most impactful injectable they've ever had.

How Botox treats excessive underarm sweating

The underarm contains hundreds of sweat glands controlled by sympathetic nerve fibers. Botox blocks the neurotransmitter that signals sweat production. The glands themselves remain healthy but stop receiving the signal to fire.

Treatment uses fifty to one hundred units distributed across the underarm in a grid pattern. The procedure takes about thirty minutes.

How we treat the underarms

Treatment is straightforward. We map the active sweat area using a starch-iodine test if needed, then place injections in a grid pattern. Most clients receive fifty to one hundred units per side depending on severity.

The procedure takes about thirty minutes. Discomfort is minimal. Results show in three to seven days.

Most clients return every six months. Some go longer. The duration varies by individual.

I was truly blown away after my appointment here. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the providers who handled my treatments, was incredible! They made me feel so welcomed and cared for, and were both informative and genuinely kind. The space itself is spotless, cozy, and easily the most inviting place I’ve ever been for Botox. Michelle did my Botox and she was amazing! I also had a hydrafacial and dermaplaning, and I already can’t wait to come back again and again. You will not regret booking here!
